I have been trying to get my small cottage roof re-shingled for three years.  Cory was the only contractor who responded in a professional manner: showed up for an estimate; actually went up on the roof to assess what needed to be done ; gave a fair estimate, and followed through on time.

I haven’t seen the work yet (due to the travel restrictions with the COVID-19), but he kept me informed by pics of the work in progress, so I know I’ll be pleased with the roof when we eventually open the cottage. Cory is also very personable which made the whole process not seem like a problem to either of us.

Would I recommend Upright Roofing? 100% yes.

The replacement of our cottage roof was done to our satisfaction. Cory set up a date last June and had the materials delivered prior to the work date we arranged. A crew of three including Cory came and started early to remove the old roof, add plywood and new shingles. Everything was organized and they did an extremely excellent job. We are very happy on the results and recommend his roofing company. Well organized and to our satisfaction. Cory went over the job to make sure it was done properly and came back to finish some fiberglass sheets on our rear sunroom. Extremely happy with their work. Cory is a great guy, an excellent roofer and an assiduous labourer. He pulled 2 layers of old decrepit shingles off our house, repaired damaged sheathing and framing, installed new metal valleys, installed peak vents, ice and water shield and fastened on new architectural asphalt shingles. All of this during the hottest weeks of the summer. He never lost his positive attitude. He did drink a lot of water to help him keep his cool. 😎

Cory cares about quality and function and it shows through his craftsmanship. He is a caring and responsible family man and even brought his kids by the site to help him look at it when we first met. If you need a roof done, I definitely recommend Up Right Roofing to do it properly.
